WHAT IS "BLESSINGS JOURNALING" ANYWAY? WHAT DOES IT MEAN? HOW TO YOU DO IT?
Blessings Journaling can also be called "Gratitude Journaling" or "Thanksgiving Journaling" or "Prayer Journaling," along with many other names. Simply put, Blessings Journaling is giving thanks to god for all of the blessings in your life. Or, even mroe simply put: Blessings Journaling is counting your blessings and journaling them so you don't forget them and can re-read them in the future.

Isn't it counting your blessings?

Isn't Blessings Journaling praising God?

Blessings Journaling is praying to God with praise and thanksgiving (gratitude) in mind, but in journaling form.

How do you do it? Keep a list of the things you are thankful for (your blessings), in a journal. That's it. That's how you do it.

IDEAS OF WHAT TO COUNT AS JOY AND AS A BLESSING
If you get stuck and have know idea what to thank God for, I have a few suggestions.

1 Look around you, where you are. Look for an item, a thing, a person, or a memory that comes from looking at what's around you--and count it as a blessing. Put it in you Blessings Journal.

2 Another suggestion is to check out this link. It's Ann Voskamp's Joy Dare. You can start this at any time and no one ever said you have to go in order. Enjoy her link:

3 Think of each decade of your life and thank God for three different things, circumstances/situations/experiences/events, people, etc. of each decade.

This is the template I use each day--and I add even more to it:

DAILY COUNTING OF BLESSINGS AND BLESSINGS JOURNALING PLAN AND TEMPLATE
1 7 blessings from today 2014
2 3 from 1974-Sept. 12, 1984 and Decade 1
3 3 from 1985-9/12/1994 and Decade 2
4 3 from 1995-9/12/2004 and Decade 3
5 3 from 2003-9/12/2014 and Decade 4
6 3 from 9/13/2014 to today and Decade 5 (This will be 9/13/2014 to 9/12/2015).

You can use that as a template in your life, except adjust it to your decades lived.

4 Every verse from the bible you read is a blessings. Every prayer offered is a blessing. Every prayer answered is also a blessing. Blessings are abundant in your life at all times. Keep your eyes, ears, heart, and mind open and you'll be supremely blessed. The more you keep yourself open, the more blessings you'll see, it's kind of neat how it works out that way.

Tag! You're it. Start counting your blessings today.
