I'm going to start to count my blessings now... knowing I counted some yesterday. (I will add them to the count later.) I also realize I won't be able to count all in order. I'm okay with that.

Lord, I am thankful for...

Just took a short break to change into a Denver Broncos shirt (today's blessing counted) (1).  Preseason game #2 against the 49ers is today at four p.m. my time (Eastern) (2). Also, grabbed a French vanilla Atkins Shake for a snack (today's blessing counted) (3) and have iced coffee (today's blessing counted) (4) I'm drinking.

15 1 Samuel 12:24.

17 My journaling so far today.

18 Oh, I almost forgot! Sinan cat can go in and out of our clothes closet room. His box is in there and one of his favorite hangouts is on top of one of the shelves, which we call his perch. He jumps onto the dresser and then to his perch. At any rate, when I went to change into my Broncos shirt, I stepped into the closet and said in an excited and higher pitched voice, "Sinan!" He hollered his head back to look at me upside down and hollered in a loud voice, "R-r-ow!" It was too precious. He was rewarded with an ear and chin scratch, needless to say, and I was rewarded with a loud rumble purr from the cat.
