258 Thank You, Lord, for You have made me glad. Your blessings are limitless, for they come from a limitless God 259.

Psalm 31:7 New Living Translation (NLT)

I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love,
for you have seen my troubles,
and you care about the anguish of my soul.

261 I talked with Mom.

262 Mom counted more blessings today and shared them with me. This is truly a blessing.

He has made me, oh, so glad!

Psalm 118:24 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

24 This is the day which the Lord has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

If I am counting my blessings, and focusing so hard on seeing each one so I can count them, then I don't have time to worry, feel anxious, I don't have time for ugliness to come to my thoughts. Darkness cannot overtake me. Counting my blessings, and being intentional about it casts out the darkness and the storm. Counting my blessings makes me rise above the storm, because I search for and find God.  Hence, I'm glad 263.

Lord, I am so swept away by your blessings and goodness--never mind the Parable of the Stirring.

263 I received an email from a dear friend and sister in Christ. What a blessing. It did my heart good to hear from her. I praise You, Abba, for this--and for what you have done in her life. You are so good and faithful, Lord.

264 I had lunch with hubby again. We both needed it desperately and thoroughly today.

265 I cannot wait to see what You do, Lord, in our lives (B's and mine). I get excited jut thinking of it. Our situation might be a little anxiety provoking, but I know without doubt You've got this.

I'm quickly learning how if I am counting my blessings, and searching and am looking to see the other blessings god wants to share with me throughout my day, I have less time to worry or feel stressed or frustrated. It seems counting my blessings is a balm for my weary soul. What an amazing, deep, thrilling blessing 266.

Pardon me, Lord, while I go make some coffee. I need it after another night of not getting enough sleep or rest (it was worth it last night, though. Had time with hubby. Wouldn't trade that for anything).

I didn't do something yesterday. So, I need to do it for today and yesterday...

14 NEW BLESSINGS FOR TODAY AND YESTERDAY
267 It's a beautiful sunshiny day today.

268 I hear the sound of freedom again as military jets fly overhead. I can never grow tired of the sound.

269 I saw a friend today.

270 I was bad yesterday with eating, but only gained 0.20 of a pound. Thank You, Jesus.

271 I took a shower earlier and sang praise music almost at the top of my voice.

272 I then sang in the bathroom as I dried off. I opened the door and the cat was there--listening from under the door.

273 I went downstairs, still singing, mind you, after the shower thing. And, Harry aquatic RES turtle listened. Needless to say, I had to sing an entire praise and worship song to him before I went to my study. He basked in the glow of praise and worshipped his Creator as well. (At least I didn't scare him and he didn't put his head in the water to drown out my noisy singing.)

Yep. All of that is the good stuff of life. Thank you, Jesus!

274 I spoke with my Granny. Is hared everything with her and I know she'll be praying. I cherish her prayer tremendously.

275 Thank God Granny was, 276 is, and will be in my life 277.

278 I'm enjoying a delightful mug of coffee as I count my blessings.

279 Praise God about this:

280 The news can surprise me to the good some days. This is one. Look at this:

"378 people 'pay it forward' at Florida Starbucks"

281 Baby aspirin. God, I thank You for baby aspirin. It helps soothe my aches and pains. Also, they remind me of my childhood. 282

283 Gummy vitamins. They agree most with my stomach--and kinda taste good.

284 My two sleeping turtles and sleeping beagle. They are so precious when they sleep. Harry is doing the floating thing. Shelly is basking on a rock with her head in so it isn't so bright. Zack is curled in as little of a ball as his old bones will allow. Haven't seen Sinan cat. I assume he's sleeping either on his perch in our closet or under or bed--or on one of the dog beds upstairs.

285 Opportunities and possibilities.

DECADE 1
286 My bedroom in my first house, when I was one to five.

287 Our next door neighbors who became our close friends at the first house

288 My Big Wheel I used to love to ride.

289 I learned how happiness is a choice and is a state of being.

292 My college friends

293 Graduating from college

294 Getting a full-time job and going to the seminary for graduate school at the same time
