My April Camp NaNoWriMo Writing Project
My April Camp NaNoWriMo Writing Project
I keep coming up with ideas on what to write in the month of April for Camp NaNoWriMo and have decided to go with this idea:
Working Title:
Silence is Not Acceptable. We Must Take a Stand. There's Too Much at Stake.

What is Camp NaNoWriMo? It's writing a book in a month, if I so choose, or whatever I decided. It's a worldwide contest and challenge.
My goal is to write a minimum of 15,000 words in April, given my hectic life right now. Ideally, it will be 30,000 words. We shall see.

Synopsis of Blog Post Series and Book:
A Christian American's opinion and thoughts on the Church and the world today. This is a memoir, along with thoughts on current events and politics. The world today needs a wake up call, as well as does the Church. There is too much going on and at stake to keep our heads buried in the sand, pretend like nothing is going on, denying it, and not finding out for the truth for ourselves, which means we are intentionally ignorant and think it's okay to go on with life as normal, when it is anything but. There is a new holocaust going on here. And, we must face it and tackle it before we destroy ourselves.
This is a collection of journaling entries where I look at myself and see how my silence has led to this world crisis and holocaust of anyone who does not believe a certain way.

Headline:
"ISIS might be harvesting organs, Iraqi ambassador tells UN, amid reports of more hostages being burned alive | Fox News"
Link to read for article of current event in the news: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/02/18/isis-repor...
Just the title of the article disturbs me. How about you?
Harvesting--organs--ISIS--terrorism...
The depravity of man.
How can anyone be silent after hearing this?
How can anyone not want to take a stand against terrorism?
Over the last month, ISIS has murdered people, declared war on several nations and religions, has beheaded people, has burned people alive, and now we hear about this.
How is this okay?
Our silence says it is okay. Our silence gives consent. Our silence is wrong.
Take a stand.
Do not be silent.
Say something.
Terrorists are harvesting organs to fund their terrorism.
I shake my head and shake on the inside at the thought. How is this okay? How is this not terrorism? How is this not extremism? How is this acceptable? How can we stay silent? How can we not take a stand?
No one deserves to be beheaded. I do not care if they are an animal or a human. I don't care what race, religion, gender, or social class. No one deserves this. Nobody. No one.
To be so immoral to find such acts acceptable, let alone do them... This speaks of someone horrendously evil and they cannot be reasoned with. If this is acceptable at all in your mind, you are so demented, so vile, so immoral that logic or reason are so far beyond you that you cannot be spoken with and peace is impossible. The depravity and evil of such a man...
There is only one thing that can be done with such an ideology that has been inbred for centuries--and that's destroy them and teach a new generation a new and better way of peace and love. The present generation does not know love or peace.
Mass beheadings... Mass burning people alive... Organ harvesting...
This is wrong.
This is what evil looks like.
How can anyone be silent and not take a stand against this?
I am finding it difficult to find the words to stress how appalled I am and how deeply this hurts me. How about you?

There is nothing new. This includes the war of the cross and the crescent. Check out this link about Charles Martel.
I hope you find it interesting--I know I sure did. I will talk more about this later.

I am going to continue adding links to read on this blog about current events and our world crisis. It means several blog posts a day, but I will try to put them all in one blog post per day as I am able.

Bible verse of the day:
This verse is quite timely in our current events and in this world crisis:
Romans 8:35 Expanded Bible (EXB)

Current events journaling and world crisis journaling...
I'm still trying to figure out what to call this current writing project and blog post series.
I wrote a quote earlier:
"Take a stand. Say something. Do not be silent."
In regards to ISIS and al-Qaeda, and all other terror groups, we need to stop being silent and trying to keep the peace or play nice or be politically correct. We need to take a stand.
If we don't take a stand on something, then we take a stand on nothing.
Take a stand. Say something. Do not be silent.
Take a stand.
I realize my grave error in being silent and not wanting to make waves. I have supported terror in a way. Silence does not challenge. Silence does not take a stand.
There are biblical ways to take a stand. It's taking a stance with love and not sinning since I am not in the military. But, I have a right to free speech and genocide because of a disagreement in belief is wrong.
Should I call this project, Take a Stand Journaling? Not sure. I think I like it. (Note: How about you? Do you like the title?)
*******
A blog post series:
"Take a Stand Journaling: Journaling About Current Events and World Crisis"
That's what I was going to call this. However, it's more than that. I will think it's more than that. It's going to become a way of life for me outwardly, not just inwardly.
