I'm a firm believer in being a blessing as well as in allowing others to be a blessing. This is through the resources of time, money, and/or prayer.
There is an organization out there I think every American needs to be aware of and it's:
THE WILD ANIMAL SANCTUARY
If you live nearby in Colorado, or have an extra dollar or two, this is an organization like no other. It's private. They receive no governmental help in adopting and caring for these animals.
Check out this link, even if you cannot. Maybe someone you know can. Either way, check out this link if you want to be truly blessed. the stories of these animals, these innocents, are heartbreaking to think of where they came from, but where they are now is truly amazing.
