The Current Writing Status of a New Epic Fantasy Novel and Series and Preparation for Camp NaNoWriMo
Since I wrote the last blog post, I have scrapped the former start I had of writing Book 1 of the Cirtolia Series and have been planning, outlining, and writing. I hope by the end of this week, or the beginning of next week, I will have a title and will be able to tell you what it is about, other than a fantasy series based off of my family tree.
I have about 9,500 words written so far and have 25% of book 1 planned. By the end of the day today, I hope to have more written and planned.
Also, I have decided to take place in Camp NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).
Camp NaNoWriMo starts on July 01 and lasts through the month. My goal is to write 31,000 words at least during that time.
My normal writing goall is the least 7,000 words per week, but preferably 10,000 words. When I complete the gol, then I work on more planning and outlining of this novel, as well as future novels.

Tomorrow is Day 1 of Camp NaNoWriMo
Tomorrow is the first day of Camp NaNoWriMo (Camp National Novel Writing Month)
No. I am not writing a work of fiction or a novel. Rather, I am writing a nonfiction book. It's called,
Prayer Protection: My journey of learning about intercessory prayer, spiritual warfare prayer, watchman prayer, and powerful prayer
I have 15,000 words written already, so my goal is to write a total of 65,000 words at least for that book. Then, if I finish that earlier, I will start another project of the "Learning the who, what, where, when, why, and how of the Bible today series." However, the truth is, I imagine I will make Prayer Protection book a more lengthy one than 65,000 words... Or, I will add a second book to that one. We shall see. It's anyone's guess right now.

WHAT SHOULD I WRITE? (AM WRITING FOR CAMP NANOWRIMO)
WHAT SHOULD I WRITE?
For over 15 years, I have wrestled with this question and I keep asking it,thinking I have answered it, only to ask it all over again. Repeat. And repeat.
Look at how many times I have changed my writing genre and ideas on this blog. It's full of hundreds of ideas I have not followed through on or finished. All of my writing seems to have been for a season.
However, I keep coming back to a few core values that I know I should write about:
1 Journaling
2 Prayer Journaling
3 Christian Living
4 About the history of the USA
5 About the politics of the USA
6 About current events
7 The War on Terror
8 Fantasy/speculative fiction
9 Fiction writing to show #1-7.
Now, I think I have figured out how to encompass #1-9.
Hence, it's the fantasy or speculative fiction series of "KRAIMORA" I have decided to try to write.

My Camp NaNoWriMo Writing Project
"Silence is Not Acceptable. We Must Take a Stand. There's Too Much at Stake."
4,641 words total so far.
Word Count Goal between now and April 30, 2015 is 20,000 words minimum. Ideally would be 35,000 total words.

The Last Days and Bible Prophecy:
652 p.m.
Given the intolerance and discrimination against Christians in the United States of America, and terrorism around the world, I hear some Christians say how we must be living in the Last Days.
Are we? I ask.
The answer is a 100% yes. Since Jesus died on the cross, we are in fact in the Last Days.
Now, does this mean that we will see the end of the world in our lifetime, I am not sure. However, I think it is important to live like the Last Days could really be ushered in ten minutes--or like it could be in another 2,000 years.
However, how can we be ready unless we know the truth of what is to come in the Last Days? Hence, I'm going to start to study the Last Days. I want to be informed and ready. Stay tuned. I will start with the Book of Daniel, then Revelation, and then possibly Ezekiel, followed by the other prophets.

Today is my first day of Camp NaNoWriMo. I hope to write at least 500 words between now and the end of the month. Ideally, I will write at least 1,000 words per day. Even more would be icing on the cake.

Prayer Journaling Thoughts:
Lord, please help me to know what to do and how to pray for the forgiveness of our land and for Your healin, protection, and guidance of the USA. Help me to know my part in bringing a revival in the U.S. so that the U.S. Church as a whole will get right with You and do Your will, not the Church's agenda.
Your will be done, Almighty God.
Help Christians take a stand against the lobbyists, organizations, governments (city, county, states, and national), and individuals trying to eliminate our rights and freedoms. We are the largest body of any religion and it is time we had loud enough voices to be heard and change the shift in our country to give Christians back our rights and freedoms given by the U.S. Constitution.
Help American Christians to learn what YOU think is most important. We keep trying to focus on our preferences and agendas. We want what is comfortable. We do not want to be labeled or stand out. Help us know that to believe in You, truly, we must stand out and that means speaking out as times. Now is the time to speak out.
The minority voices of atheists, LGBT, pro-abortion are the minority. We keep allowing their voices to be heard. Why not ours, too? They deserve their rights and freedoms just as much as we do. It is okay for us to disagree, but we should protect one another's rights to be free. Help the American Church and each and every Christian to speak out.
And, help us, God, to speak out about the current holocaust. Help us to pray about all these things without ceasing or stopping. To YOU be the glory, not us.

Take some time to prayer journal your thoughts.
Again, this is what differs our God as the One and Only God.
We receive eternal life merely through our belief in Jesus Christ--and for no other reason. The moment we believe Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins, so we do not have to, our sins--all of them--are forgiven as a free gift by the Lord.

We do not do anything to merit eternal life and forgiveness of our wrongdoings, except believing. That's it.

We do not have to murder others in older to stand up for our God and earn His favor.
Nor do we have to commit suicide in His name.

This is the true Easter message. Particularly this year... After 21 Coptic and Orthodox Christians were beheaded in February 2015 because of nothing more than their belief in Jesus Christ and how He died for the forgiveness of their sins. They did not die to prove He was God. They died.. we're beheaded... murdered... because they didn't believe what the terrorists do.
And now, they are living the free gift of eternal life... of no more sadness or pain... of endless time with perfection and beauty with the One True God Almighty.
This is the Easter message this year.
How serious are you about your belief?
Are you silent about the truth of Jesus and the Bible? Are you afraid to offer? Do you want to be tolerant? Are you afraid of standing out and people disagreeing with you? Would you take a real stand of real belief in Jesus and speak out against terrorism and the current holocaust and the New Exodus?
This is the only true Easter message that should be shared this year.
If our faith is comfortable and we are happy, then we aren't really living a true life of faith in this world today.
The Christian faith is quite uncomfortable today. And, we have a choice to run from it it, deny it, ignore it, or dive right in and make sure that the 21 (and the children beheaded, and the girls and ladies being sold into sex slavery to fund the terrorists) did not, have not, lived and believed for nothing or in vain. We must remember. We must be as uncomfortable as possible because of our faith, so we remember to turn from our own personal and collective wicked ways so God will hear our prayers. As we are uncomfortable, we should be praying 24/7 for God to forgive us and heal our land.
This is today's one, true Easter message.
If your Easter avoids this, ask yourself if you are celebrating a comfortable Easter or the real, true Easter.

I will say this. I refuse to go to any Easter Sunday at any church that doesn't focus on this. A happy, easy, comfortable Easter is not what I want to celebrate, given the scores who have died and have been tortured and sold into slavery as the Church and most Christians have been silent... including me. I want to remember the truth of our world today and everything Jesus said about why He lived and died for us... and what He said about the last days and His second coming. I want to make sure I am ready... and that I have prayed as much as possible for the forgiveness of our sins individually and corporately for Israel, the USA, and the world.
This is my Easter this year.

What is Camp NaNoWriMo? It's writing a book in a month, if I so choose, or whatever I decided. It's a worldwide contest and challenge.
My goal is to write a minimum of 15,000 words in April, given my hectic life right now. Ideally, it will be 30,000 words. We shall see.

Synopsis of Blog Post Series and Book:
A Christian American's opinion and thoughts on the Church and the world today. This is a memoir, along with thoughts on current events and politics. The world today needs a wake up call, as well as does the Church. There is too much going on and at stake to keep our heads buried in the sand, pretend like nothing is going on, denying it, and not finding out for the truth for ourselves, which means we are intentionally ignorant and think it's okay to go on with life as normal, when it is anything but. There is a new holocaust going on here. And, we must face it and tackle it before we destroy ourselves.
This is a collection of journaling entries where I look at myself and see how my silence has led to this world crisis and holocaust of anyone who does not believe a certain way.

Observation, Application, and Prayer:
I want to trust in God and have complete confidence and hope in Him.
Okay... That is a great sentiment. What does this look like in practice? How do I apply it? And, not only that, but how do I fully apply this to my life?
Lord, show me the way, please. How do I this? How do I live this way and in this manner?
I do not want to ever worry or be in a spiritual drought again. Instead, I want to be blessed by trusting in You fully, Lord, through having total hope and confidence in You. But, I need to know how to do so. Show me the way, God. I want to live a fruitful life in You.

Camp NaNoWriMo and Current Writing Project Status
Today's total word count goal for Camp NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), in which I'm actually writing a non-fiction book, is: 11,900.
I have 19,128 words, so I am ahead of schedule. It's still my goal in July to get at least 50,000 words written, if not more. If I can get a lot more done, even better. I'm thrilled with the progress.
Also, I cannot believe how much I'm enjoying the book I am writing. It's the exact resource I've been looking for for years--without even realizing it. I bet you'll get a great deal out of it as well.

My Current Writing Project
THIS BOOK AND FUTURE BOOKS AND BLOG POSTS
I've decided to write A REMEMBERING YOUR PRESENT LIFE STORY COLLECTION: HOW TO SHARE AND LEARN A LIFE STORY 2014 EDITION (ARYPLSC 2014) rather than several other books. Instead, I'm going to combine everything you ever needed to write A a Life Story, whether it's yours or someone else's, in one place, in the ARYPLSC. I will also add additional material throughout the year on my blog and will add it to the ARYPLYC 2015.
I was going to write a 1-hour interview book, a 4, 8, 12, etc. hour interview books, and sell them separately, but I decided against it and decided to just make it one collection, with everything you every wanted to know about capturing a Life Story. It's easier and you don't have to buy several books that way. I will add enough material on my blog that if you don't buy the book, you can still write your Life Story or someone else's. I think you'll discover a collection would be the most helpful, though, and will want to buy the book.
The 1, 4, 8, 16, 20, 24, 28, and 32 hour interviews will still be included in this book (and upcoming yearly editions), along with several other prompts and suggestions.
CAMP NANOWRIMO
The word count goal for today is 10,200, but I have 11,600 words so far. (Yay!) Needless to say I'm ahead of schedule. Stay tuned. There will be more information about my writing progress and how to write your Life Story on Tuesday, July 08, 2014.

News, Camp NaNoWriMo, and the 1st Four Interview Books
NEWS AND CAMP NANOWRIMO
The total word count due today is 5,100.
As of 936 a.m., I have 5,521 words written. So, I'm going to see if I can kick it up and add 1,700 words to that total. Therefore, I am going to set an ideal goal of 7,221 words. But, at least 6,600 words today.
My Camp NaNoWriMo goal is to write 50,000 words for the month of July. My normal word count is 46,500, so I am kicking it up a notch.
I started writing the 4-Hour interview, when I realized it would be shorter than my 50,000 word goal. The day before, I came up with the idea to do multiple interviews, not just the 8-hour. Consequently, I'm going to try to get a good start on the first four interview books, the 1, 4, 8, and 12 hour interviews.

I'm going to finish writing the 4-hour interview and then write the 1-hour interview, then the 8 and 12 hour interviews.
THE PURPOSE OF THE INTERVIEW SERIES
Whether we're wanting to write our own Life Story, or that of another, the interview can be quite the useful tool. Hence, that's why I'm starting with this series first in the "Remembering Your Present Life Story: How to Tell or Learn a Life Story" books.

Camp NaNoWriMo and “Remembering Your Present Life Story and the 4-Hour Interview: How to Tell or Learn a Life Story”
The writing progress of Camp NanoWriMo and the “4-Hour Interview” is going quite well. I am so excited about it. I’m loving the book and the idea of it.
I plan on putting it to use with my Granny, over the phone since we live in different states. I got an app for my phone where I am recording our call, so I can listen to it later. But, I will take notes as she tells me her story. I will make sure to also note the non-verbals as I go.
At any rate, I’m discovering this book will not be 50,000 words and I cannot do multiple books for Camp NaNoWriMo, so I’ve decided for it, I will do a book bundle of at least books 1-3 below, maybe the 4th as well. We shall see.
So, far, I have 4,976 words out of 3,300 or so words due today. Consequently, I’m thrilled by my progress.
As I’ve been working on writing: “Remembering Your Present Life Story and the 4-Hour Interview: How to Tell or Learn a Life Story,” I’ve come to realize how incredible of a tool it is. Needless to say, I’m going to expand the interview line.

New Plan for Book 1
Well... What's that saying... Man makes plans and God laughs... "Or, the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray." Well...
I will write the first book, but I came up with an even simpler version, which I want to start with rather than the "Simplified" version. Everything I've written still applies in the "Simplified" version, but I will write a version before it and wills tart to write that first. Then, I will continue with the "Simplified" version.
The new book is: Remembering Your Present Life Story and the 4-Hour Interview.
"The 4-Hour Interview" will be what it sounds like. It's a 4-hour interview you can give yourself for your Life Story or you can give it to another.

Camp NaNoWriMo Day #1: Writing "Simplistic"
Today is the first day of Camp NaNoWriMo and the start of my current writing project.
I need to write at least 1,700 words today so I will have at least 50,000 words of "Simplistic" at the end of Camp NaNoWriMo. My heart starts to race at the thought. It's a nervous excitement.
RYPLS AND LAST NIGHT
"Simplistic" and my new focus and business of Remembering Your Present Life Story had me wound up last night, so I'm living on practically no sleep. (Ugh.) This new focus has grabbed my heart and won't let go. I'm sold on it. I cannot help but get emotional just thinking about it.
EVERYONE SHOULD CAPTURE THEIR STORY
I truly believe everyone should capture their life story, whether it's on the page (written), audio recording, or via video. I think this of every individual, every marriage, every family, and your closest friendships. Think about it. Doesn't your marriage have a Life Story? And, so do the others I just mentioned.
Every story matters.
Every story is important.
Every story has a purpose--for the one whose story it is and for the one who is learning their story.
Every story is sacred.
THOSE WHO SHOULD CAPTURE THEIR LIFE STORY (OR HAVE SOMEONE DO IT FOR THEM)
- Those in a hospice or nursing home
- Those who are dying (cancer, tumor, sickness, etc.)
- Those who have learned some life lessons
- If you have dealt with a struggle
- If you have been blessed
- Parents
- Grandparents
- Married
- Single
- Older
- Younger
- If you've lived a day

Camp NaNoWriMo and Simplified Book
SIMPLIFIED BOOK
This is the first book I'm writing in the How to Tell or Learn a Life Story Series. Note that it's the SIMPLIFIED Version. This will be a book about the basics of writing or making an audio recording of your life story or someone else's. Let's face it. Not everyone is a writer and not everyone is vocal. This book will help either style you are as you tell or learn a life story.
CAMP NANOWRIMO AND SIMPLIFIED BOOK
I'm participating in CAMP NaNoWriMo in the month of July, where I plan to write 50,000 words of this book during the month. No. It's non-fiction, and isn't a novel, but it's a book and I'm going to sue Camp NaNoWriMo (Camp National Novel Writing Month) to help me stay motivated to write this book--and write it fast.
I will write this and share with you my stories as I work on writing this book. I will do so on this blog (the one listed below--RYPLS), not on my Writings of SD blog.
Today, I'm going to start to outline it and tomorrow, I start Camp NaNoWriMo. Woo-hoo!

A New Kind of Fiction Writing
A New Kind of Fiction Writing
I have been a little quiet the last couple of weeks as far as writing and my latest writing project. I will continue to be so until next week. But, I will support this.
I am doing a new kind of fiction writing. I used to be a panther and used to type things up as I go.
How many novels do I have published using this approach? One.
One in four years, I might add.
Do you know know how many I've written cover to cover, but haven't published? About twenty.
Do you know how many I have written to about the halfway mark? About one hundred.
Do you know how many I got to the one-third mark? Hundreds.
Do you know how many genres I've tried? All of them.
See the problem?
I do not finish.
I have the commitment, but I tend to write myself in a corner I have no idea how to get myself out of or through. Consequently, I've decided to change how I write entirely.
I have decided to do some book planning for a couple of days. But, I am using a steno pad and a PaperMate Flair in blue and black ink as I plan. (Check. Done.)
Then, I outlined the total book, spiral pad, marker pens. Check. Done.
Now, I'm writing the rough draft on write-up pads with marker pens. It will take 11 spiral pads for each book, let me add, and I have no idea how many marker pens.
Also, I'm only allowing myself to write 1,500 words per day. No more.
If I have any time left, I use it to study my writing craft more through reading novels and studying them and evaluating them.
So far, I've gotten more done than I have in five years and I think it's the best idea and most solid of writing I've ever done.
I'll keep you updated. It's exciting.
Also, I'm doing Camp NaNoWriMo with this novel, which starts July 1st.

Camp NaNoWriMo and My Spiritual Memoir
In July, I'm taking part of Camp NaNoWriMo (Camp National Novel Writing Month), where people around get together and write a book in 30 days. Yes. A book. They write part of a book or an entire book during that space of time.
I try to take part in Camp NaNoWriMo and NaNoWriMo every year during the months in which I can participate: April, July, November.
This year, I plan on working on my spiritual memoir.

Writing Marathon, Camp NaNoWriMo, and a New Epic Fantasy Series
Writing Marathon
I've started, as of yesterday a writing marathon, where it's my goal to write at least 3,500 words per day June 01 to July 24, 2014. That's 55 days of writing like a madwoman, as I've coined this crazy adventure.
Camp NaNoWriMo
Also, it's my plan in July to join Camp NaNoWriMo from July 01 to July 23, for I will then be on vacation for almost three weeks. Camp NaNoWriMo is Camp (like what you do with a tent, fire, smores, ghost stories, gazing at the stars kind of thing. Camp National Novel Writing Month where crazy people like me camp out and write a novel for a solid month and forget about everything else--housework, cooking, socializing, you name it. We write a novel. Period. End of story. (Or, at least we try.)
A New Epic Fantasy Series: A WITCH'S DIARY
Yesterday, I started to write a new inspirational epic fantasy series. Over the next 55 days, I'm going to try to write book 1 of this series. (Please, Lord!)
Also, don't judge the book by it's title or the series name (or cover for that matter). It's meant to be a tease or hook and grab attention.
Christians: It's not what you think. Stay tuned. More information to come. It's about the dangers of turning to other religions when we don't even realize that is what we're doing.
Non-Christians: This is series talks aobut all of the major world religions, along with several races, and whether it's possible to develop peace among the different religions or spiritualities, races, nations.

CAMP NANOWRIMO, Writing Progress, and Skydoor's Book Description
This changing the idea for a book in the middle of CAMP NANOWRIMO was probably not my best move. But, I felt almost dirty for what I tried to do in writing the Bible story, and the story of the life of Jesus, in a different time and in a different world. I didn't want to write something that was so obvious and intentional about showing I was doing so either.
This now puts pressure on me to write more and write fast.
Yesterday, I lost a lot of time trying to figure out what I wanted this book and series to look like, and it's frankly still a little fuzzy, so I didn't even get the daily minimum word count done (which is now 3,000 words per day for the month of April for CAMP NANOWRIMO).
So, today, I need to write 4,000 words minimum, let me add, in order to get caught up. No pressure. However, it's more complicated than that. I will need to spend the rest of the month getting caught up since I changed my story. After all, I have a grand total of 2,000 words so far and need to be at 11,666 in order to reach my goal at the end of this month.
Book and Series Description
Eighteen year old Cecily has just regained her memory, but not all. She really isn't from Earth, USA, Las Vegas in today's year. Rather, she is from another world, in another dimension, and she is the heir to the throne from her land of Cranvor.
Years ago, she, along with her two most trusted protectors and advisers, were sent to Earth to hide. They all took on different ages on Earth in order to hide and blend in and hopefully not be caught by her enemies who searched the universe, and all of its worlds and dimensions, for her. She started over again as a first grader and it was graduation day from high school when she regained her memory.
The one she was matched with to marry one day would find her when it was time, when their world was either most ready for her to take the throne, or most desperate. When he found her, her memories would be regained. He wasn't just her match, but they loved one another deeply. She remembers she was matched with someone, but does not remember him at all, and frankly doesn't really like him now. But, she sure likes her knight and the one least likely. Never mind how Josiah accidentally overhears everything going on and becomes intertwined in this adventure to find the four who are also living on Earth since they, too, were in hiding.
She is to return to Cranvor, but there is a series of things she must do before she can even think of taking the throne. When Wizard Rufus set the three to Earth, he also hid all of the most important relics of the kingdom of Cranvor and the very things she needed to take the throne most successfully. A group of six must go on a quest throughout Cranvor in order to find these relics and take the throne.
As they go on the quest, Cecily learns just how corrupt the crown and nobleman have become, and the desperation of the people to find a way to save them from the darkness of their world. The old ways have been abandoned since they felt everything good had abandoned them. The people did not know what was done to save them.
Several choices have to be made and a quest helps her to regain more memories, figure out a new way to rule, which goes against the history of the kingdom of Cranvor's old nobility. After all, she learned about the world history from Earth and has learned a great deal of what works and what doesn't, what endures and what doesn't, and the best way for the people to live freely and thrive. Hence, Cicely find her way as she establishes a relationship with the five who join her on the quest. She falls in love with her world and all of the people as well.
However, none of this is easy. She has every adversary out there who want to see she fails or dies. The dark of Cranvor have everything to lose when she returns and they sense an uprising.
Also, she has to survive leaving Earth before she can even think about going back to Cranvor.

UGh! (Ugh! UGH! UgH!): A New Idea and CAMP NANOWRIMO
A new book came to me over the last three days.
And, the truth is, MATTHAN seemed a little blasphemous to me. I want to write an epic fantasy that deals with world religions, politics, adventure/quest, treasure hunt, and a love story all rolled into one.
