Reading the Classics in 2013: My Classics Odyssey

I have decided to make it my goal to read classic novels in 2013. Who knows. I might decide to do it after 2013 as well. We shall see.

That being said, you need to know that for the most part, I have not read the Classics since high school. So, it has been a couple of decades. Therefore, this is a loftier ambition than it might sound.

I have no idea how many I will read, but will only read only the Classics. Also, they have to be $5 or less for each book. Preferably, the books will be free.

My classics odyssey will start with LES MISERABLES by Victor Hugo.

I will journal about it, by the way.

I now have two books based off of this blog. They are both free. You can get them at the link below (in this blog post) that is for Smashwords.

They are free for now and will be until there is enough material for an entire book. Hence, please note that they are ROUGH DRAFT copies and need to be corrected. They are based off of posts from this blog.

In time, both books will be available for $5.00 each. But, that's months from now.

I have two books in the works right now:

~ "Jamestown Passage" (My NaNoWriMo Book)

In the upcoming weeks, I will publish them in e-book form at the following link. As they are being written, I will allow you to read them for free. Just remember the clause--that it's in the most rough form possible.

Then, once they are edited, I will offer them there to be purchased at a minimal fee. 

Smashwords is an amazing company which will allow you to choose from multiple formats for your e-book. This includes Amazon Kindle. Also, they will offer my books to be available at other places, Barnes & Noble as an example.
