There are several different types of journaling will list a few in just a moment.
I do several different types of journaling each day, each week, each month, etc. Most weeks, though, I use the following (not in any particular order):
1 The Box Journal: It's the one I capture all of it in, collect, and sort through later.
2 Blessings Counting Journaling
3 Idea Journaling
4 Memory Mining Journaling
5 Dream or Goal Journaling
6 Nature Journaling
7 Observation Journaling
8 Biblical, Christian, Prayer, and/or S.O.A.P. Journaling
9 Review Journaling
10 SOC (Stream of Consciousness) Journaling
12 News or Current Events Journaling
13 Reading Journaling
14 Photo Journaling
15 Marriage Journaling
In time, I hope to address all of these in a blog post series and then turn it into a short book. So, stay tuned.
The type of journaling I want to begin with is:
Marriage Journaling:
Capturing your story as a couple on the page
Our marriage is the most important relationship in our lives, hence we should devote time to journal about our marriage each and every day. However, it should be in counting our blessings in our marriage, and not our or their pitfalls.
Love is a choice and is a verb.
It is far more, far deeper than an emotion. An emotion is short-lived and blows with the wind.
Love is anchored by choice and intentionality. This is what makes a marriage last the distance.
Let's journal about our marriages and see if we can deepen the footing of our anchors. Let's do some marriage journaling.
Shall we begin?
