001 Prays 247365 and a Romans 8 Blog Post Series

THE FOCUS OF PRAYS 247365 BLOG
Prays 247365 is a blog about prayer. It's about everything you ever wanted to know about prayer.
It's a teaching and coaching blog about prayer.
It's a community and group of intercessors and prayer warriors who, well, pray. It's about people who make the commitment to want to learn to pray, and actually pray, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long (247365). So, please, add comments to the end of any blog post and let's stand together in prayer. Let's ask questions, encourage one another, add prayer requests, and pray through this blog. Share your prayer focuses with us and what God has put on your heart to pray in a comment you add at the end of any blog post.

PRAYING THE WORD OF GOD
The most powerful and effective prayers we can ever pray are when we pray the Word back to God and we ponder the verses and prayer journal about them. Moreover, it's the easiest prayer to do because we don't have to come up with the words. God already gave them to us in His Word. And, it's the very type of prayer we do not do and neglect. (I cannot help but shake my head and wonder why as I look in the mirror and think of other believers I talk with about prayer. I will discuss this more in the upcoming blog posts.)
Therefore, as we pray, and learn more about prayer and share about prayer, I will make it a point to do a blog post series on different chapters of the Bible and focus on prayer regarding that chapter and how it applies to current events and our lives today as we pray.
Our first blog post series, and praying the Word, is on Romans 8.

PRAYS 247365 AND ROMANS 8 BLOG POST SERIES
We will pray Romans 8 so much in this blog post series we will memorize it without even trying. After all, we will read it and pray it back to God all day and night long, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as long as this blog post series lasts.
We will focus on what we can learn about prayer through Romans 8 and how to apply it to our lives (including our prayer lives)  today.

THE GOAL OF THIS BLOG POST SERIES
1 To teach and coach about prayer
2 To focus on Romans 8
3 To focus on prayer, Romans 8,  world events, and how all three of those things can be used or combined together
4 For me to take part in Camp NaNoWriMo in July 2015 and I will write this blog post series during the month (to write a minimum of 50,000 words in 30 days in 100 blog posts that average 500 words each).
Shall we begin?
Let's pray.

PRAYER
Lord, thank You for being You and for all You do. You are my One and Only. There is no one and nothing like You. You are the King of kings, Lord of lords, the Beginning, the Last, the Great I AM, Savior, Friend, Judge, Teacher, Comforter, Creator, and Almighty.
Lord, teach me to pray. And, not only that, but how to pray 247365 and what to pray during that time.
Help Romans 8 teach me how to live, how to pray, and more about Your Word. Help me hear You clearly and to respond accordingly. In the name of Jesus, help me to understand fully what I read.

WORD OF THE DAY
Read Romans 8 in your favorite version of the Bible.
