Memorial Day: A Journal Prompt or Exercise
Remember those who have served in the U.S. Military and those who have given their lives for your freedom. After all, without their serving, we would have none.
Journal about them, this, and why and how you are grateful.
Count the blessings you have because of them.
Do you know someone who paid the cost? Remember them now. Journal.
If you do not know anyone personally who died, you can still take several moments today to remember, thank God, and journal about what they did for you and how they did it for your freedom.
What do you take for granted about your freedom?
People have given their lives for us and our freedom. This should make us live every moment differently. Shouldn't it?
Remember those families who have lost someone in war. This day is for them. Not for us.
