One of the things I love most about writing is how it is something that can unite people--across the world--no matter the background, ethnicity, beliefs, shape, color, nation, etc. It is a great unifier. It is where one writer supports another and has the integrity to not steal one another's work (please!), but learn from one another.
Writing unites us.
While we might disagree with one another, we can respect one another's craft.
That's pretty amazing.
