CHANGE IS IN THE AIR: 16 WEEKS TO 2 BOOKS OF 24 WEEKS EACH, 5 VERSES PER DAY

CHANGE IS IN THE AIR: 16 WEEKS TO 2 BOOKS OF 24 WEEKS EACH, 5 VERSES PER DAY
Well, they say the one constant in this life is change--and this blog post series is no different.
I've started to realize I bit off more than I can chew, as the old cliche goes. I wanted to try to write this journaling memoir, a devotional Bible study, in 16 weeks, which meant 16 verses per day 5 days per week. That was too ambitious. I want to be able to enjoy the text more. So, I'm dividing this into two books, 24 weeks each, and five verses per day.

NEWTEASER FOR A 4-BOOK SERIES TO HELP US LIVE A LIFE OF JESUS:

DO YOU WANT TO GET TO KNOW JESUS MORE?

Do you want to know Jesus?
Do you want to get to know the Bible more?
Do you want to live a life of Jesus?
If so, then check out this new series of eight books that starts tomorrow on this blog.
Book 1 is the Book of Luke and will last 24 weeks—and so is Book 2.
Books 3 and 4 are Matthew and each will last 22 weeks
Books 5 and 6 are John will last 14 weeks
Books 7 and 8 are Mark and it will last 18 weeks
= 156 weeks or so for all 8 books. That’s three years.
I guarantee you’ll get to know Jesus and the Holy Bible more—as you learn how to live a life of Jesus.

THE PLAN FOR THIS BOOK

This is a reflection on the Bible’s Book of Luke, the gospel, as I read about five verses per day for the next twenty-two weeks or so, or approximately 110 days, book 1 and then the same amount of time for book 2. The plan is to have five-day weeks, so two days can be for catch-up and review.
