SUNDAY: A TIME OF REST
Today is Sunday. It's a day of rest. What a blessed day.
We have one day each week we can choose to do what's most important. Rest.
Today is an opportunity most of us fail to seize and claim.
Welcome to a new day. It's a day of rest: a time to rejuvenate and reflect, think, and just be. It's meant to be a time to recharge in every way: spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, economically, and every other way you can think of. After all, we are not made to go-go-go! We need time to rest.
If we were to rest one day, an entire day, each and every week, we would be a lot healthier. We would be healthier in every way.
But, we do not do it, do we?
We should, but we don't make it a priority.
We know we should, but we don't do it. We think we just don't have the time, when in reality, it's worse than that. We actively, intentionally, knowingly refuse to make the time.
If we would take a day of rest each week, we would have more to offer others and would be far more efficient with our priorities and tasks over the following week.
So, let's make the choice to seize the opportunity this year of a day of rest.

A JOURNALING PROMPT
Journal your thoughts.
How can you take one day per week as a day of rest--and make it your priority to seize the opportunity?
Make a plan and then implement it.
