Prayer, Thanksgiving, and Colossians 4:2

Prayer, Thanksgiving, and Colossians 4:2

It seems as though prayer and thanksgiving go hand-in-hand. Read Philippians 4:6, 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 and this verse:

What do we learn about thanksgiving in this verse of Colossians 4:2?

We are to continually pray and give thanks to God.
The formula is:
Prayer + thanksgiving = worshipping God
Prayer and thanksgiving shows our reverence to God. It's how we acknowledge Him as God and have a relationship with Him. In other words, when we thank God, we are praying.
